am Charlotte Rinderknecht. Thank you for stopping by our site. Over the next few months I will let you know about the happenings at Studio Kinate. Who We Are
Situated in a quiet neighborhood in Northern Virginia, Studio Kinate is an entertainment production studio quite unlike any other. Our team of artists, led by former Director of the Disney Institute, Larry Lauria, produce innovative animation grounded in timeless storytelling traditions – for commercials, television, online, and feature films. Yet for all our collective talents, it is the way we approach our business that makes our product all the more remarkable. Because our films not only engage audiences, they inspire a new generation of animators. Each and every Studio Kinate project includes the work of student, intern, and junior animators. Founder and CEO Charlotte Rinderknecht believe this “incubator” model is not only good business - but the key to creating relevant and progressive storytelling that resonates with young audiences. Pete's Odyssey was created primarily with the talents of animation students from Bloomfield College and East Orange High School NJ. How We Work
Studio Kinate represents a new paradigm for animation studios that puts American animators to work - and puts classical, hand-drawn animation back on the screen. Our productions include both traditional techniques and digital technology because we believe the warmth and artistry of hand drawn animation is an art worth preserving for the next generation.
